Welcome to my blog. I love beaches and what better relaxing place to think about when working away online. You may see a beach theme as I settle into blogging to lighten things up.
Onto the first three questions for this blog post. First, I think student engagement is the most important characteristic of high quality online learning though I am taking this course to learn what other characteristics might be key. In my first few months as an online educator, I have learned that each student is different including both their goals and their needs and it is important to consider both when engaging with each unique student. As I am just getting started, I have lots of questions about online teaching and learning and one of them is how I can most effectively engage my students.
